  4. Pull the ring closed.
  5. Slip stitch to the top of the chain 3 to close the round.

Round 2 (Increase Round):

  1. Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet).
  2. Make another double crochet in the same stitch (first increase made).
  3. Make 2 double crochet in each stitch around.
  4. You should have 22 stitches in total.
  5. Slip stitch to the top of the starting chain 3 to close the round.

Round 3:

  1. Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet).
  2. Make another double crochet in the same stitch (first increase).
  3. Double crochet in the next stitch, then make 2 double crochet (increase) in the following stitch. Repeat from * to * around.
  4. You should have 33 stitches in total.
  5. Slip stitch to the top of the starting chain 3 to close.

Round 4:

  1. Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet).
  2. Double crochet in the same stitch (increase).
  3. Double crochet in the next two stitches, then make 2 double crochet in the following stitch. Repeat from * to * around.

Save

Round 5:

  5. Slip stitch to close.

Rounds 6-10:

  2. Make one double crochet in each stitch around (no increases).
  3. Repeat for a total of five rounds, maintaining 55 stitches.
  4. Slip stitch to the top of the starting chain 3 to close each round.

Round 11 (Single Crochet Round):

Brim Rounds:
