Special Stitches
Centered (Waistcoat) Single Crochet (wsc):
Insert your hook between the “legs” of the sc below (center of the stitch, not the top loops), yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through two loops. Produces a knit-like “V” effect.
Elongated double crochet:
A regular dc, but in the top decorative round, it is pulled taller by working as usual but with a more relaxed motion.
The Pattern!
Attaching to the Leather/Plastic Base
- With chosen yarn and 4 mm hook:
